I have been fortunate enough to build my career in Harris Scarfe. I spent many years in stores working in all departments – building my product knowledge, customer service and merchandising skills. I later transferred to the Support Office where I have been able to use those skills to assist others. Harris Scarfe has provided me with multiple opportunities to grow and develop in my career and has supported me along the way.

It’s been such a great experience being part of a well-established company with so much history. The team culture here is really supportive and fun, and there’s a big focus on learning and development. Over the past year, I’ve grown a lot in my role and picked up so many new skills, I’m really looking forward to what’s ahead!

I started my journey at Harris Scarfe as a little Christmas casual working in stores, growing I have been able to achieve great things over the past 15 years developing in different roles within the company and now working in support office where I can see a lot more possibilities for myself.

I became a Store Manager after completing the Elevate course, a Certificate in Business Leadership and lots of in store experience with Harris Scarfe over my 19+ years. Harris Scarfe offers great training opportunities, internal talent management and is a fantastic team to work with! I have gained immense confidence in my abilities through the support and encouragement of my peers and leaders.

I have worked at Harris Scarfe for over 27 years. I love getting the opportunity to help people find what they need for themselves and their homes.

Joining HS as a store manager in 2005 and 20 years later I still love coming to work. HS has given me the opportunity to expand my career and grow as a leader. Harris Scarfe gives me the opportunity to be the best in our field through ongoing training, support and collaboration whilst encouraging work life balance. I would not want to work anywhere else. My HS journey began as a 15 year old christmas casual. Little did I know, this job would turn into an 18 year career across multiple roles. I have had the opportunity to grow and progress through the company from a christmas casual to a supervisor, to an assistant manager, to a store manager and at times step into an area manager role. Harris scarfe constantly offers me opportunities to develop and grow and to challenge myself. The ever changing, fast paced environment, the people you get to meet, the relationships you get to form and the opportunities are only some of the many reasons I love working at Harris Scarfe.
